Intraday Volume Profile Bundle

Intraday Volume Profile Bundle is a complete volume distribution analysis system that identifies the Point of Control (POC) — the price level with the most traded volume — and the Value Area — the range containing 70% of total volume — for the current trading session. These levels act as powerful magnets and boundaries: price tends to gravitate toward the POC and oscillate within the Value Area during balanced markets, while breaks beyond the Value Area signal directional conviction.

The bundle includes four study types: a chart overlay that draws POC, Value Area High, and Value Area Low with optional previous day levels, a RadarScreen scanner with 17 columns comparing price against POC, Value Area, open, previous close, VWAP, and pre-market levels, a ShowMe study with four plot modes for different signal types, and a PaintBar study with three high-volume detection modes (Top N, Multiplier, and Percentile).

Two calculation methods are available. Method 1 (POC Binning) divides the session range into configurable bins and counts volume per bin — the bin with the most volume becomes the POC, and bins are accumulated outward from POC until 70% of volume is captured for the Value Area. Method 2 (VWAP Bands) uses the session VWAP as a proxy for POC and standard deviation bands as the Value Area boundaries. Binning is more precise; VWAP Bands are computationally lighter and work on any data.

All levels are calculated from the current session's data and update in real time as new volume flows in. Previous day's POC, VAH, and VAL are available as reference levels.
