Swing Failure Pattern Bundle

Swing Failure Pattern Bundle is a complete SFP detection system that identifies one of the highest-probability reversal patterns in price action trading. A Swing Failure Pattern occurs when price wicks beyond a prior swing high or swing low but fails to close beyond it — the wick penetrates the level, sweeps the liquidity, and the close rejects back inside. This signals that the breakout attempt failed and a reversal is likely.

The bundle includes four study types: a chart overlay that draws a line at the tested swing level plus a marker at the wick extreme, a RadarScreen scanner that tracks SFP signals with quality metrics across your entire watchlist, a ShowMe study that marks SFP bars with Rejection Ratio and Pierce Depth data, and a PaintBar study that colors SFP bars for instant visual recognition.

Two quality metrics distinguish strong SFPs from weak ones. Rejection Ratio measures how much of the bar's range is wick versus body at the failure point — higher ratios indicate stronger rejection. Pierce Depth measures how far the wick penetrated beyond the swing level relative to ATR — deeper pierces indicate more aggressive stop hunting before the failure. Both metrics are configurable as minimum thresholds.

All signals are guaranteed non-repainting. SFP detection uses completed bar data only — the swing level must be established and the failure bar must be closed before any signal fires.
