Volume Imbalance Bundle

Volume Imbalance Bundle is a complete body-to-body gap detection system that identifies levels where price moved so aggressively between two consecutive candles that no trading occurred at intermediate prices. Unlike Fair Value Gaps which use the 3-candle wick-to-wick pattern, Volume Imbalances detect the gap between the close of one candle and the open of the next — a 2-candle body-to-body pattern that represents pure institutional momentum.

The bundle includes four study types: a chart overlay that draws the body gap range as colored support/resistance zones, a RadarScreen scanner tracking distances and zone counts across your watchlist, a ShowMe study that marks the bar when price touches the midpoint of an active Volume Imbalance zone, and a PaintBar study that colors bars when price is inside a Volume Imbalance zone.

Volume Imbalances are less frequent than Fair Value Gaps but represent more aggressive institutional action. When the close of one candle does not overlap the open of the next candle, it means price jumped entirely past intermediate levels — a gap that the market often returns to fill. The gap range becomes a zone of expected support or resistance.

All signals are guaranteed non-repainting. Detection uses completed bar data only (the gap is confirmed when the second bar closes).
