Order Blocks for RadarScreen
Order Blocks for RadarScreen brings smart money zone detection to your watchlist, eliminating the need to manually analyze chart after chart for institutional levels. This RadarScreen version identifies order blocks using market structure breaks and displays every symbol's proximity to bullish and bearish zones in sortable columns.
- ●Nine scannable columns: distance to nearest bullish/bearish zone, active zone counts, price-inside-zone flags, new order block signals, plus Alert Date and Alert Time so you know exactly when each zone signal fired
- ●Sort by NearBullDist to find symbols within 1-2% of bullish support zones
- ●Filter by NewOBSignal to catch fresh institutional zones as they form
- ●Check InBullZone and InBearZone to identify symbols currently sitting at decision points
- ●Color-coded cells make pattern recognition instant: cyan for nearby zones, green for active blocks, yellow for new zones
Use RadarScreen to find the 3-5 symbols closest to institutional zones, then switch to the Order Blocks chart indicator (sold separately) to see exact zone rectangles and plan your entries. Both indicators use identical zone detection logic for seamless workflow.
Order blocks are identified only after the structure break bar closes, ensuring zones never appear or disappear retroactively. Non-repainting guaranteed.

Who This Is For
Built for swing traders and position traders managing 30-100 symbol watchlists who trade reversals at institutional supply and demand zones. Use daily or 4-hour chart scanning to identify symbols approaching or sitting inside order block zones, filtering large watchlists down to 3-5 high-probability reversal candidates.
Add Order Blocks RadarScreen to your main watchlist window. During your weekend planning session, sort by NearBullDist ascending to find symbols within 1-3% of bullish support zones. Sort by NearBearDist ascending for short candidates near resistance. During the week, monitor InBullZone and InBearZone columns daily for symbols that have entered decision zones.
Use Sunday evening or Monday pre-market for initial weekly scan. Check InBullZone and InBearZone columns each morning (9:15 AM ET) to see which candidates have reached their zones overnight. Review NewOBSignal column Friday afternoon to identify fresh zones forming for next week's watchlist.
This RadarScreen indicator pairs with Order Blocks Chart (sold separately). Use RadarScreen to filter your watchlist to 5 candidates approaching zones, then open chart view to see exact zone rectangles, candle structure, and entry triggers. Both use the same zone detection logic for seamless workflow.

Installation Guide
Step 1: Download the indicator file
After purchase, download order-blocks-radarscreen.eld from your confirmation email or account download page. Save it to a location you will remember (Desktop or Downloads folder works well).
Step 2: Import into TradeStation
Open TradeStation. Go to File > Import > EasyLanguage Document. Browse to your downloaded .eld file and click Open. TradeStation will confirm successful import with a message listing Order Blocks RS as imported. Click OK.

Step 3: Apply to RadarScreen
Open your RadarScreen window (or create new: View > RadarScreen). Right-click any column header and select Insert Indicator. In the indicator list, search for "Order Blocks RS". Select it and click OK. TradeStation will add all seven plot columns (NearBullDist, NearBearDist, BullCount, BearCount, InBullZone, InBearZone, NewOBSignal) to your RadarScreen.
Step 4: Configure your watchlist and columns
Add your symbols to the RadarScreen watchlist (type ticker and press Enter, or import from existing list). Adjust column widths by dragging column borders. To customize order block detection settings, right-click the indicator name in the column header area and select Format Indicator. Modify inputs (SwingStrength for pivot sensitivity, MaxOBAge for zone expiration, MaxOBCount for max tracked zones). Default settings (SwingStrength=5, MaxOBAge=50, MaxOBCount=10) work well for swing trading on daily charts.

Common Issues
NearBullDist and NearBearDist show 0.00 for all symbols. Why?
Zero distance means no active order blocks exist for that symbol. This happens when: (1) the symbol hasn't had any market structure breaks yet (needs swing highs/lows confirmed with SwingStrength bars on each side), or (2) all previously detected zones have been mitigated (price closed through them) or expired (exceeded MaxOBAge bars). Try reducing SwingStrength to 3 for faster zone detection, or increasing MaxOBAge to 100 to keep zones active longer.
I see InBullZone=1 but price looks far from any support on my chart. What's wrong?
You're likely comparing different timeframes. RadarScreen calculates on the interval set in the bottom-right interval selector. If your RadarScreen is on Daily but your chart is on 4-hour, the zone locations will differ. Match the RadarScreen interval to your chart interval, or understand that they're tracking zones on different timeframe structures.
How do I find symbols within 2% of a bullish order block?
Sort the NearBullDist column ascending (click header once). Symbols with values under 2.00 are within 2% of their nearest bullish zone. Cyan cell backgrounds highlight rows with active zones. Combine this with BullCount > 1 to find symbols with multiple support layers nearby.
NewOBSignal flashed yellow yesterday but now it's black. Did the zone disappear?
No, the zone is still active. NewOBSignal only shows 1 on the exact bar when a new order block is detected, then resets to 0 on subsequent bars. The zone remains active until mitigated or expired. To see all active zones, check BullCount and BearCount columns (values > 0 mean zones are present). For visual confirmation of zone locations, switch to the Order Blocks Chart indicator.
